Haunted Library
Smithers Public Library 3817 Alfred Avenue, Smithers, BCWhat happens when the library lights go out? Scary stories and ghoulish delights! Younger kids can enjoy Hallowe’en games and treats in the children's room, while older kids and tweens creep down the haunted aisles and listen to spine-tingling stories. Come in costume or as you are!
PJ Party!
Smithers Public Library 3817 Alfred Avenue, Smithers, BCOn Friday, February 16th (non-instructional day), slip into your PJs and come to the library for sleepover-themed games and crafts. Play musical cushions, Pictionary, and join the freeze dance party! All attendees and VolunTEENS are encouraged to wear their favourite pyjamas. No registration required. Thank you to the Library VolunTEENS for organizing this event.

Wildfire Resiliency: NID Program
Smithers Public Library 3817 Alfred Avenue, Smithers, BCMeet Ember, the friendly FireSmart mascot, and learn all about wildfire resiliency. Dig into our Wildfire Literacy Kit, get creative at the FireSmart Craft Station, and check out the wildfire truck/equipment show & tell! This event is presented in partnership with Flicker Land Management and supported by Wetzin’kwa Community Forest Corporation.
