Catch the Sun: NID Program

On Friday, October 21st (non-instructional day) we’re trying to catch the sun! Create sun-catchers, sundials and other sun-themed crafts. This event is open to all school-aged children and no registration is required. Thank you to Wetzin’kwa Community Forest Corporation for sponsoring this event and the Library VolunTEENS for helping to make it happen.

Hallowe’en Hullabaloo

Kids of all ages are invited to enjoy a spooky good night at the library! Younger kids can enjoy age appropriate Hallowe’en games in the children's room, while older kids and tweens can join in the eyeball hunt, roll-a-Frankenstein, charades and more. After 7:30, stay for some scary stories in the dark.

Celebrate National Poetry Month with a rousing evening of verse and song, featuring local poets and musicians. During the open mic, community members are invited to take the stage and share a poem or song. This event is free and open to everyone. Coffee/tea and refreshments provided.
