BC SRC 2023: Journey Through Time
Take a Journey through Time with the Summer Reading Club at the library. This year’s theme plays on time travel and is an homage to all things past, present, and future.
We are offering this fun-filled, drop-in program from July 3rd to August 11th for three different age groups. Program updates will be posted on our website and the SRC Facebook page.
BC SRC also has an online participation option with a reading tracker, activities, and contests.
Weekly Program Schedule
- Book Buds (ages 3-5): Mondays (July 3 – July 31) from 10 – 11am
- Forever Friends (ages 6-8): Thursdays (July 6 – Aug 10) from 10 – 11am
- Wonderful Readers (ages 9-12): Tuesdays (July 4 – Aug 8) from 10 – 11am
Program age ranges are suggested. Children are welcome to join the group that best suits them. There will also be a wrap-up party for all participants on Friday, August 11th!

- Beautiful Builds – Architecture, buildings, bridges
- Terrific Transportation – Transportation throughout history

- Far Out Future – What’s to come
What can I read?
All types of reading are encouraged, including reading in other languages and listening to audiobooks and oral stories.
