Summer Reading Club: Fantastic Friends

Fantastic Friends (9-12 years)
Thursdays, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
July 7^th to August 11^th

This year’s Summer Reading Club (SRC) theme is All Together Now! Weekly themes will celebrate community and connection. Upon registration, SRC participants receive a welcome package, including a fun reading log and bookmark. Everyone is invited to the Wrap-Up Party on Friday, August 12^th.

2022 Weekly Themes

• Community Connections: My neighbourhood, friends, school, and community helpers
• Hello World: Travel and moving, world languages, international celebrations
• Dream Team: Sports, organized group activities and games
• Great Outdoors: Exploring our connection to the environment, the natural world
• Together, Apart: Internet and phone technology, long-distance communication (letters, postcards)
• All Kinds of Families: Families (including found families) and family celebrations
• Let’s Play Together: Working together, cooperation, and teamwork
