Book Lovers’ Night Out is back for another season! The 2020-21 meeting dates are listed below (stay tuned for details about what we’re reading each month). This year, we will host physically distanced gatherings at the library. Depending on current health and safety guidelines, these meetings will also take place via Zoom. Book Lovers’ Night Out is a casual, community book club that is always open to drop-ins.

Paper Cuts & Crafts

A Virtual NID Program
Friday, May 21st | 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. via Zoom

On Friday, May 21st (Non-Instructional Day), get crafty with the Library Volunteens! Create paper airplanes, animals, flowers, and try your hand at origami. This event is open to all school-age children. Supplies needed: Paper, scissors, tape/glue, and something to colour with.

Pride Storytime

Virtual Event: Details TBA!

As part of the live, virtual Pride Celebration on Saturday, May 29th, the library is presenting a Pride-themed storytime to celebrate diversity and inclusivity. Stories and songs will feature 2SLGBTQ+ characters and themes. The video will also be available to view on our YouTube channel.

This is a partnership event with the Smithers Pride Society.
